Swiss Schengen Visa Changes for Serbian Nationals
As of 1 July Serbian Nationals will only have to pay £32.00 for their visa regardles of whether they are adults or children. (Same as Bosnia-Herzegovina) Also their diplomats will no longer require a visa to travel to Switzerland.

French Schengen visa update
As of the 1st February 2010 the processing times for French visas will be increased from 24 to 48 hours, however, under special circumstances for instance applications requiring completion in less than 48 hours your passport may be processed sooner.

Vote on EU skilled immigration Blue Card due in November
The VNN Forum has reported on a recent announcement by the European Parliament that the proposed European Blue Card scheme for skilled immigrants will need to pass a crucial vote in the Civil Liberties Committee in early November.
