Swiss Schengen Visa Changes for Serbian Nationals
As of 1 July Serbian Nationals will only have to pay £32.00 for their visa regardles of whether they are adults or children. (Same as Bosnia-Herzegovina) Also their diplomats will no longer require a visa to travel to Switzerland.

Coalition commits to impose migration limit
Net migration will be scaled back to the levels of the 1990s - with the effect that it will be in the tens of thousands rather than hundreds of thousands. Introducing a limit on migrants from outside Europe coming here to work is just one of the ways the government intends to achieve this.

Further changes to French Schengen visa processing times
On the 2nd of February 2010 Smooth received confirmation from the French Consulate that its processing times for French visas applications whilst in their possession would be 48 hours and that there will no longer be shorter processing times under exceptional circumstances.

Tier 4 Student visa letter is phased out
From 22nd February 2010, any non-EU student who applies by post or at one of the UKBA public enquiry offices, to study in the UK under Tier 4 of the points-based system must possess a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) from their prospective sponsor.
