UK promises visa flexibility for South Africans

MediaClubSouthAfrica.com has reported that British High Commissioner, Paul Boateng, has offered his assurances to South Africans that the UK Governemnt will do its utmost to be accomdating and flexible with regards to stricter visa rules.
Last week it was reported that South Africa, along with four other countries, had failed to make satisfactory imrpovements to their passport system to escape stricter visa rules being imposed by the UK's Home Office as part of its new Points Based System (PBS).
Mr Boateng also made assurances that the British Government has made the necessary adjustments to cope with the anticipated increase in visa applications and that all applications would be processed withinin five days.
