Tier 4 UK student visa update
29th September, 2009
In April 2009 the government implemented Tier 4 of the points-based system, directed at non-EU students wishing to come to the UK to study at higher education institutions. Tier 4 was introduced to bring about a greater transparency for foreign students, by providing a points related criteria that must be met by those hoping to obtain this visa.
There has been a rise in the number of rejected applications as a result of stricter vetting of Tier 4 applications by UKBA. Education institutions have raised concerns in the press that student applications are taking longer and they are experiencing an increased number of rejected applications compared to the experience of previous years.
It would appear that many of the refused and problematic applications mentioned in the press are due to individuals attempting to complete their own Tier 4 applications without the advice and guidance of a professional immigration company.
Smooth Migration has an exceptional rate of application acceptance due to its comprehensive knowledge and experience in the preparation of Tier 4 applications. The Tier 4 application service is offered with the Smooth Guarantee of no win no fee, making SmoothMigration the first choice for many overseas students.
