French Schengen visa rules update
20th July, 2009
The foreign spouse of an EU national may now enter France without a Schengen visa due to changes in French Schengen visa rules, providing they comply with each of the following:
· A valid travel document
· A valid UK residence permit with the following endorsement “family member of EEA national”
· Meeting up or travelling with their EU spouse
If you do not satisfy the above conditions, you will need to apply for a French Schengen visa to travel to France, in which case please contact the Smooth Migration team for assistance on 0845 644 1871.
