Tier 1 - Post Study Worker
In some instances employers will not want to go through the Point Based System route due to the level or responsibility resting on them. When possible they may choose to opt for an individual that is eligible for a Tier 1 Post Study Worker visa.
The Tier 1 Post Study Worker visa removes responsibility to the employer since they are not the sponsor here.
Individuals that have completed their degrees in the UK during the last 12 months may be eligible to qualify for the Tier 1 Post Study Worker. The Tier 1 allows an employee to work unrestrictedly in the UK for a period of 2 years. Workers are not linked to any specific job or employer.
When qualifying during these 2 years they are expected to change over to the Tier 1 General or Tier 2 Work Permit.
